No, they’re so burned out they don’t even know that they’re burned out. It’s like a drunk driver that doesn’t know that they’re drunk. They’re so burned out they’re just trying to get through the day.

So the next time you’ve got someone on the road, someone in your community who is agitated, irritated, passive aggressive, nasty for no reason. Before you jump to judge them, say to yourself, I am dealing with someone who is hurting. And it doesn’t look pretty because they’re hurting. They’re in pain.

So be present. Sometimes you just listening to someone – you don’t have to solve other people’s problems. That’s a classic mistake. It’s not your place. You can listen to someone. You can be there for someone. It creates a very strong connection.
