We all do this. Here’s why.

People go, they stand by the elevator, they hit the button, the elevator’s not coming, what do they do? They hit it again, of course they do. Shocking, it’s not coming any faster. So what do they do? They go there and they just, with frustration.

So then I ask myself, why? Why does our mind cause us to do things that don’t make any sense? Because on a logical level, we all know this is not going to bring the elevator any faster. And everybody does it.

Why does our mind cause us to do things that don’t make any sense over and over and over again and then with increased intensity and frustration just to get the same result?
So then I said to myself, okay, Michelle, where in your life, business, leadership and life, do you stand there by the elevator button? And you hit that button over and over again, make the same choices over and over again without even realizing.

So our journey today is about how not to do that. Because let me tell you something: 94% of the people in the world stand there by the elevator button of their business, leadership, and life, make the same choices in a different way over and over again. And then people say, I don’t know, it’s not working out. Maybe I’m not lucky. Maybe I’m not good at this. No, you’re very good at this. I’ll show you how to do it.
