Your mind believes what you fear

The mind is very impressionable to danger, to whatever is negative, whatever everybody does wrong that needs to be corrected, all the doubts that I have about myself, why things won’t work out.

And so because of that, and evolution, we all walk around full of self-doubt and doubt our ability and doubt the ability of other people around us. That’s also the reason why when somebody does something great in your team, you’re very quick to dismiss it. But when someone makes a mistake or messes up, you’re going to give it a whole lot of attention because your mind is wired that way.

You know, the news is built very heavily on that. Scary news. Negative things. They get a lot. They just sell a lot more commercials.

So your job is to rewire your brain and tell yourself, I know how to do this. I have the roadmap. I need to pick one thing, change one thing for 30 days. That’s all I need to do.
